FebPhotoADay Part I

I love photography. Every day I'm still looking at my beautifull captures from California, keeping the sweet memories alive to help me through this cold cold winter.. At the same time the winter is wonderfull here, with lots of snow and ice to enjoy - and beautifull white views!
And then I found this Photo Challenge called Feb Photo a day, which is to take a photo every day on a certain theme. I used some of my pics from California, and some new captures. Here's my first recap!


1. Your view today
01-02-2012 - we went to the recording of a television show called 'De Wereld Draait Door', this was my view on a very nice band there was playing called Hospital Bombers!



2. Words
These words inspire me and is a big lesson I want all of you to learn - don't be shellfish and judgemental, be caring, respectfull, giving and loving to eachother.. Treat people as you want them to treat you. - Be The Type Of Person You Want To Meet.




3. Hands
These hands are carrying an important message - Happiness. The number one priority in life.




4. A Stranger
This stranger we saw in San Francisco.. just standing there silently with a sign 'Jesus Loves You'. Just a way of spreading out His message. In America I have seen lots of people on the street with signs or boards like that. Here in Europe, you wouldn't hardly see anyone..



5. 10am
05/02/2012, 10:00 am. Just came out of bed on a beautifull sunday morning. Having a nice breakfast and preparing to go ice skating.




6. Dinner
This day we went out for dinner in the Art Hotel in Amsterdam. My brothers' girlfriend is working there and he decided to take us out for a nice diner. And it really was! As an appetizer we even had smoked salmon and Caviar! (First time I ate it!) My main menu was a guinea fowl with mushrooms and season vegetables. Hmm, it was delicious, I will never forget it!




7. Button
I couldn't find any button to take a picture of, or a picture with a button. So I found this picture with a couple of buttons - and I thought it was kind of appealing to me haha. ;)




8. Sun
A beautifull sunset on Huntington Beach which I will never forget!!! <3

10. Portrait
One of my favorite portraits taken in San Francisco, while I was enjoying my coffee in the Starbucks on Firshermans Wharf. Love it!




11. Makes You Happy
One day I was going to the mall with my friend, and we saw these guys standing aside the street - bursting out some great positive vibes!! It really makes me happy to see people full of positivity.

sorry this one I really had to pass - I couldn't find anything or wasn't able to take a picture because it is just A Big Mess.



13. Blue
I couldnt't think of any better blue view then I had in Palos Verdes, on the beautifull ocean. The deep blue see with big waves which I can stare at untill the end of time..

Het was al even in gebruik, maar afgelopen zaterdag ging dan officieel de deuren open van de nieuwe Studio Bellezza. Het resultaat: een uitgebreid Beautypark, met luxe behandelingen gericht op huidverzorging, hairstyling, manicure, massages en spraytanning. Ook worden er workshops en trainingen gegeven in visagie, haarstyling en nagelverzorging.
De prachtige Beautysalon straalt luxe en ontspanning uit, en creëert een rustgevende sfeer waar de tijd wordt genomen voor uw uiterlijke verzorging. Na afloop van een beauty workshop worden er foto’s gemaakt in de aangrenzende fotostudio.
Een leuk team van beautyprofessionals staat voor u klaar om de gewenste beauty behandelingen bij u uit te voeren!

De Grande Opening was een groot succes, rond 14u werd het lintje doorgeknipt en daarna was de studio toegankelijk voor alle genodigden - zakelijke kennissen, familie en vrienden. Aan het einde van de middag gaf Jasmijn Buijs nog een mooie speech en werd afgesloten met een groot applaus voor de eigenaren Angela en Wilko van Eck.
Naast vele bloemen en flesjes wijn werden de financiële bijdragen verzameld en gedoneerd aan Stichting KWF Kankerbestrijding - ter nagedachtenis aan Ineke Buijs, de moeder van Jasmijn en mijn lieve tante, die zo ontzettend trots was op het prachtige werk van haar dochter. Ik wil de medewerkers en bezoekers van Studio Bellezza ontzettend bedanken voor jullie steun!



Studio Bellezza is te vinden in Waardenburg, afslag Haaften/Waardenburg via de A2 Den Bosch richting Utrecht. Makkelijk bereikbaar dus, en voor een heerlijke beautybehandeling zeker een bezoekje waard!!

Ben Howard - Keep your head up, Keep your heart strong

A great musician I just want to share with you.
These beautifull songs and lyrics are carrying out a wonderfull message.

Ben Howard. Guitar player, surfer and traveler.

Born and raised in Totnes, South Devon. His musical parents exposed him at a young age to their favourite records. John Martyn, Joni Mitchell, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Nina Simone have played a big part in his life. During his study in journalism he decided to focus on making music fulltime, and started writing his own songs. At the age of 22, he released his first album called Every Kingdom ( October 2011).

His lyrics are amazing. Here is one of his best songs which keep touching me everytime I listen to it. It’s about him finding himself.
